1. What ages is the Junior Guitar Heroes program designed for?

The program is specifically designed for children aged 6 to 15. Lessons and learning materials are adapted to the emotional, developmental, and technical needs of each age group.

2. Does my child need to have their own guitar from the first lesson?

For the introductory/trial lesson, we provide the necessary equipment. After that, however, it is essential for your child to have a suitably sized guitar at home for regular practice.

3. What size guitar should we buy?

The appropriate guitar size depends on the child’s height and age:

  • 1/2 size: Generally suitable for ages 5–7

  • 3/4 size: Generally suitable for ages 8–10

  • 4/4 (Full Size): Generally suitable for children aged 11+

Before purchasing a guitar, we recommend consulting us so we can guide you in choosing the right size for your child.

4. Are the lessons individual or group-based?

We offer both individual lessons and small-group lessons (3–5 children).

Group lessons encourage collaboration and social interaction, while making learning more enjoyable through games and shared activities.

5. How often are the lessons and how long do they last?

Lessons are usually held once a week.

The lesson duration is either 40 or 60 minutes, depending on the child’s age, needs, and learning goals. This provides enough time for meaningful learning while taking into account children’s attention and concentration.

6. How much should my child practice at home?

For younger children, consistency is more important than duration.

We recommend approximately 10–15 minutes a day, 4–5 days a week. Regular contact with the instrument helps develop coordination and musical memory without overwhelming or tiring the child.

7. Do I need to know music in order to help my child?

Not at all!

The material we provide is designed to help children gradually develop the ability to practice independently. Your role as a parent is mainly to provide a positive environment, encourage your child, and celebrate their effort and progress.

8. When will my child be able to play their first songs?

Thanks to our step-by-step and playful approach, children can begin playing simple, recognizable melodies and rhythms from the very first lessons.

Our goal is for children to experience the joy of actually making music from the beginning, while gradually developing their skills and confidence.

9. What happens if my child misses a lesson due to illness or other commitments?

In the case of an excused absence, provided that we are notified at least 24 hours in advance, the missed lesson can be rescheduled for another date and time, arranged in consultation with the teacher.

If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the lesson will be charged.

10. How can I follow my child’s progress?

We maintain regular communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and development.

We also organize student recitals and small performances, giving parents the opportunity to see and celebrate the progress of their little Guitar Heroes!
